1. Tea production situation
One is the reduction in production of famous spring teas. Due to the impact of drought in 2024 and early spring frost damage in 2025, the production of spring tea this year has decreased.
Secondly, the price of high-end tea has slightly decreased. Affected by consumer downgrades, the prices of high-end premium teas have decreased compared to the previous year.
Thirdly, there has been a slight increase in the quantity and price of mid to low end premium teas. Represented by Longjing tea, the production of mid to low end tea has slightly increased compared to the previous year, while the price remains basically the same as the previous year. Mainly due to the unique quality of Shengzhou Longjing tea, it attracts major enterprises to purchase from Shengzhou, whether it is physical, e-commerce, or new tea drinks.
Fourthly, both the quantity and price of popular tea have increased. Before August, the weather will be favorable, with the production of first tea, second tea, and third tea increasing season by season, and prices rising season by season.
2, Tea sales situation
Firstly, the sales of premium tea are steadily improving. This year, tea sales are generally in a "weak" state, whether it is high-end tea sales areas such as Hangzhou and Shanghai, or sales areas dominated by mid to low end tea in Shandong and other places, there are fewer people buying tea, lower sales prices, and reduced sales volume. After investigation, the sales situation of famous teas in Shengzhou, mainly Yuexiang Longjing, this year is similar to last year, with an overall stable and positive trend.
Secondly, the sales of raw tea for new tea drinks have increased. After experiencing explosive growth in previous years, the pace of new tea beverage raw materials has slowed down this year. Last year, due to high sales expectations for new tea drinks, the production volume of roasted green tea was too large, resulting in excessive inventory from suppliers. This year, suppliers are reducing their inventory, leading to a decrease in demand for roasted green tea. But the new tea raw material tea supply enterprises in Shengzhou have a different scene. It is reported that the new tea beverage raw material tea supply enterprises in Shengzhou have both strong production and sales, with a significant increase in output and value compared to the previous year.
